The Cherryland Youth Leadership Institute (ChYLI) is now entering its 10th year of developing local leaders!
The ChYLI program is a home-grown Summer program for young people in the community of Cherryland that seeks to provide: horizon-broadening opportunities, leadership development, practical skill-sets, and a cohort environment for the purpose of collective empowerment and positive community transformation.
Eligibility Requirements:
Be between 14-18 years of age
Be entering 9-12 grades next academic term
Be a resident of Cherryland

How is the ChYLI Program funded?
By generous people such as yourself! Between 12 and 18 youth participate each summer, attending contextual learning activities inside and outside the Bay Area; for example, spending the day with a Marine Biologist in Monterey, or visiting with their representatives at the State Capitol. These immersive learning excursions require funds. You may invest in the ChYLI youth by registering to give at this link, and simply choosing the fund “Cherryland Youth Leadership Institute”. ¡El Instituto de Liderazgo Juvenil de Cherryland (ChYLI) está entrando a su DECIMO año de estar desarrollando líderes locales!
El programa ChYLI es un programa de verano para jóvenes en la comunidad de Cherryland que busca brindar oportunidades para: ampliar el horizonte, desarrollo de liderazgo, habilidades prácticas y un entorno de cohorte con el propósito de empoderamiento colectivo y la transformación comunitaria.
Requisitos de elegibilidad:
Tener entre 14-18 años de edad
Estar ingresando al 9-12 grados en el próximo año escolar
Ser un residente de Cherryland
Aplique por medio de la forma abajo
¿Cómo se financia el programa ChYLI?
¡Por personas generosas como tú! Cada año, entre 12 y 18 jóvenes participan en actividades de aprendizaje contextual dentro y fuera del Área de la Bahía; por ejemplo, pasar el día con un biólogo marino en Monterey o visitar a sus representantes en el Capitolio del Estado. Estas excursiones de aprendizaje inmersivo requieren fondos. Puede invertir en los jóvenes de ChYLI inscribiéndose para donar en este enlace y simplemente seleccionando el fondo "Cherryland Youth Leadership Institute". ¡Muchísimas Gracias!
